The final Steering Committee meeting was held December 11, 2006 in Charlottesville. Notes from the December 11th Steering Committee meeting in Charlottesville are now available.

The various reports, surveys, and software – including the dataset cutting tool – were demonstrated at the Steering Committee meeting and have been delivered to SCHEV.

Institutions continue to enter data into the Teacher Pipeline Application (TPA). SCHEV and HigherEd.org are working together to provide assistance to institutions entering information in the TPA.

A pilot survey of the Alumni Year 1 survey was completed in November. Online drafts of the surveys are available for review at http://www.highered.org/teal/surveys/. The Teaching and Learning Conditions Survey has been shelved, and key questions have been integrated into the first, third, and fifth year teacher surveys. An initial draft of a Program Descriptors template for institutions has also been developed.
